Following The Cross and Finding Joy
(Psalms
51:10-12)
Do you remember the song we used to sing, ldquo;I’ve
got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart”? Well, I’ve heard it said “if you really have the joy of the
Lord in your heart, you ought to telephone your face and let it know”! Too few Christians are radiating the presence
of the Lord in their life. Christa takes a different approach on why so many are following the cross but so few are experiencing
joy. It is her desire that all believers will be able to proclaim the words El Simchah Giyl (pronounced LSim-Khaw Gheel) which
means “God is my exceeding joy”.
Sessions include:
- It’s
All In the Attitude (Philippians 2:5)
- You Can Be Pitiful And Powerful, But Not Both! (Romans 12:2)
- It’s
All In A Word (James 3:9-12)
- Where’s The Evidence? (Revelations 3:1-3)

Surrender Some (Revelations 3:15-17)

Are you ready for battle?
The Bible says in
John 10:10 (NIV) that “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and
have it to the full”. What have you allowed Satan to steal from you? Whatever it may be it is time to learn how to take
it back and to put on the full armor of God so that we are prepared to fight.

Have a “Mary” Christmas
Mary Magdalene understood the depth of her sin. She came to Jesus
unashamed. Each time we see Mary, we see her at the feet of Jesus. She loved Him and her heart wanted to please Him; for
you see, Mary had a love relationship with Him. What is your relationship like with Jesus Christ? Are you still at the level
of what can God do for me, or are you asking what can God do “through me”? We are in such a hurry at Christmas
time that we can forget that the celebration is about the birth of our Savior. All of us can be a “Mary” not only
at Christmas time but also all through the year if we take the time to be at His feet and take the time to develop a love
relationship with the one who gave His life, so that we might live.
